We participate in many community events and fundraising campaigns throughout the year and have been doing so since 1988.

Some of the major events we participate and raise funds for are:
The "Celebrity Celebration for Heart" Luncheon to raise money for the American Heart Association, which is put on by the Bank of Marin. I have participated in it each year for 6 years, selling my whole pies to the luncheon guests and giving the profits to the Am. Heart Assoc. Celebrity waiters, such as San Rafael mayor Al Boro and Joel Bartlett of KGO T.V. wait on the tables of guests. Each year the number of guests increases. This year, 2001 expects 300!

The Great Chefs of Marin is a black tie event to raise money for M.A.R.C.(Marin Association of Retarded Citizens), serving people with developmental disabilities. We participate by providing a selection of our seasonal pies and attending the event to serve dessert. This is an annual event we have donated to for 7 years. The State of the City Dinner in San Rafael. The Chamber of Commerce kindly asks us to provide dessert for this dinner. This will be our fifth year.www.sanrafael.org.

Marin Arts Council. This will be our third year to participate in the Marin Open Studio event in Sausalito.

The Business Showcase, Marin's Largest Trade Show at the Marin Center Exhibition Hall, held in May annually. We are one of over a hundred booths. Do come by our booth this year for free samples of our delicious pies. To learn more: www.sanrafael.org.

Nutcracker Sweet at the Northgate Mall in Marin County is a Holiday tasting event to benefit the Marin Food Bank and Newspapers in Education. We donate our time at the booth and the samples of pie.

Ross School Garden Tour Patron Party in Ross is an annual outdoor dinner party where we have been asked to donate our pies for dessert and the donations from the attending guests go to the Ross Schools Arts Programs. This will be our 3rd year to participate.

San Anselmo Fair, held in October is a wonderful street Fair that draws residents from neighboring towns for its festivities. We have a booth sampling out pies and selling them.

Some of the other charities we give pies to are: The Blue Jean Ball, and The Burn Center.
